A Live-Action Roleplaying Game Satire of Star Trek
written by Brandon Brylawski & Colby Perkins

With apologies to Gene Roddenberry
We're sorry, but this voyage was in the
spring of 2003. Please visit the Fête
Fatale home page to see if there are any other fun games coming up that
you can actually play.

In every organization, in every unit, in every army and navy
there is one department, or division, or ship where all of the malcontents,
all of the insubordinates, and all of the incompetents are sent to get them
out of the way. There they can whine and scowl and goof up and shirk to their
heart's content without doing any harm while allowing everyone else to do their
job properly. This is the tale of one such ship in one such navy. Welcome to
Starship EDSEL [cue music].
Come join the uproar as we portray a particularly bad day
on the worst ship ever to grace Starfleet. You'll never have so much fun being
doomed!

Starship Edsel
will be run twice during April:
Saturday, April 5th, 2003
Saturday, April 26th, 2003
All runs are scheduled from 1 to 6 pm and will be held at a
private home in Inverness, Illinois.
Brandon will be traveling from Maryland to Chicago to run the game April
5th. He will also be bringing two non-LARP games which will run that day
as well: Sound Bites, which we'll play
after Edsel over pizza, and then Inferno,
a puzzle-solving game for teams which will start at 8pm. [See the pages
for more information on each.] You don't have to stay for the other games
to play Edsel; you can come after Edsel to play the puzzle games,
if you wish.
You don't have to be a fan of Star Trek to enjoy this game--just someone who
thinks it would be fun to spend an afternoon on a starship.
A most-likely doomed starship, that is...
